Hello, I'm Patrick. I started Econ Made Simple (formerly Hawkeye Tutoring) in 2017 after graduating with distinction from the University of Iowa to help students struggling in their economics classes succeed, learn the material and get the grade that they really deserve.

Over the past fi e years, I have helped countless economics students better understand their courses, from high school students taking AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics to college students taking Introductory and Intermediate Microeconomics and Macroeconomics to MBA students struggling in Managerial Economics. I have found that meeting regularly with a tutor who can identify what you are struggling with and break that down step by step has been tremendously valuable for my students.
