Managerial Economics

Managerial Economics presents the most important principles of economics necessary for business success and management at a more rigorous level than a typical introductory economics course. Most Managerial Economics courses are significantly based on microeconomics and analyzing business decisions that your firm may make, although some do cover macroeconomics topics to be more comprehensive and present issues that would affect business from a wider lens. Similar to Intermediate Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Managerial Economics usually requires basic knowledge of differential calculus to analyze changes mathematically and how they affect a business' bottom line. As a result, brushing up on basic rules for differentiation is a great place to start before driving into the economic concepts, particularly if you had already taken a previous economics course without the higher level math.
